Galatians 6:2 – Help carry each other’s burdens. In this way you will follow Christ’s teachings.
I think I see you Yahweh. Well, I do see you. Just not sure whose burden to carry or if someone is supposed to help carry mine.
Good Morning! This was the scripture from last night and woke up this morning to it being the verse of the day. The truth, I feel like I carry so much for others, that I don’t know if I can carry more. But if that is your desire for me – here I am.
At this moment, I’m gonna sing my soul out. Electricity has left the building – there was a yellow alert for over twenty-four hours. Thunderstorms over. Question, why are they called thunderstorms when there is also lightning? Just saying.

I do not know where the sudden desire for a goat roti came from. First up, I’m fasting. No meat is part of the fast. Second up – I’m not able to pay for one at the moment. Third up – I’m praying and fasting. It’s funny but I always associate fasting with praying. And usually when I say fearing, prayer is there, because prayer should always be there. But there are days folks fast for physical health reasons not spiritual health. So a girl needs to be specific. Goat roti will have to wait until.
Yahweh, cleanse me. Renew a right Spirit in me. I am yours. Humble confidence. Honestly the recent recognition that humility doesn’t mean thinking less of oneself, but it’s a reflection of how you think of others is truly eye opening. I’m trying to remember that. Confidence plus humility are not mutually exclusive.
Burdens
This morning I continued reading a book I had started reading yesterday, “Faith based Millionaire,” and what did I see as I picked up where I left off?
“The pastor began preaching a message that spoke straight to my heart. He talked about carrying our own burdens and how we end up trying to do things our way, so refuse to let God help us.”
Yahweh, Maybe I don’t yet know how, but help me to surrender to you and to let you do what you desire to do. This is my prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! I have an “extra” $200. I can buy a bag of cat food and two or three personal items. Happy dance!! Thank you!
Yahweh help me to recognize who you are setting up to partner with me. Amen.
Yahweh will put you in positions where you can only rely on him.
