Why do we call our “brothers” and “sisters” from church, “Brother So and So” and “Sister So and So?” I don’t add the word brother before I call my brother: because he’s my brother! I call his name! It bothers me slightly but for the most part I ignore it.
It’s the end of the day – end of a Friday! Whooohoooo!! Thank you for your care and for bringing me safely through this week.
CONFESSION: When Yahweh gives a time-based promise, there is that knowledge that once we remain faithful we won’t die before the promise is fulfilled. It’s not something to be taken for granted though or abused. But something to cherish and cause you to hold tighter to Yahweh.
Thank you for your promises: your grace and love for me. For revealing the nature of folks everyday. Thank you for being the God above all.
TODAY’S THANKFUL TALLY
- Your promises.
- Family – specifically parents
- Conversations with others.
I consider three a perfect number. Why? Because of you. The triune God. Working as one, but three entities.

Acts 2:33 – God the Father used his power to give Jesus the honoured position – the one next to him on the heavenly throne. Jesus has also received and has poured out the Holy Spirit has the Father has promised and this is what you seeing and hearing.
