Yahweh, Thank you. I don’t feel any yearning. Watching a baby dedication and there is no desire for my own. Thank you for healing and growth in You. Thank you for Your grace and Your love towards us. I pray for the family. Keep them in Your will. Provide and Protect.
To grow in You. Yahweh, I pray for the consistency to walk with You on a daily, hourly basis. To grow in love, to grow in unity. To grow in You.
1 Peter 2:2 – Desire God’s pure word as new born babies desire milk. Then you will grow in your strength.
DESIRE: Man’s deepest longing for God
A baby’s desire for milk is instinctive, so should my desire for God. Sadly, our nature is carnal because of sin, so we have to consciously choose to desire God.
Hosea 14:7 – They will live again in God’s shadow. They will grow like grain. They will blossom like grapevines. They will be as famous as the vines from Lebanon.
The previous scriptures speak about the Israelites returning to God and God responding that He will love them freely and the ways He will bless them. When we return to God, we will grow.
Colossians 1:10 – We ask this so that you will live the kind of lives that prove you belong to the Lord. Then you would want to please Him in every way as you grow in producing every kind of good work by this knowledge about God.
When we try to desire God. When we choose to honour You. When I choose to walk with You, there will be an outpouring in response.
1 Peter 3:15 – But dedicate your lives to Christ as Lord. Always be ready to defend your confidence in God when asked to explain it. However, make your defence with gentleness and respect.
GROWTH
- Pray continually
- Study His Word
- Obey His Word/’Trust
- Fellowship with Others
- Help Others
So, it’s 2:05 pm. I have a slight headache. I know for the other days, I will eat some veggies for lunch, but today, I do want to go until this evening before eating the banana and grapes with some seeds. Gonna rest until church time. Thank you Yahweh for provision of ideas.
Well ended up eating a banana as I had drive to Moriah, which was not in my original plans for the evening. Gonna try and rest for the next 20 minutes.
