It’s the music. It’s getting me excited for Christmas. My honest to goodness favourite Christmas songs are:

And truthfully while with “This Christmas” I usually like almost any version, for “All I want”, the Mariah Carey version is the one I want.
They sang it at the concert tonight and the singer has a beautiful, classically trained voice. It’s not for pop and after I honestly thought that I need to hear the original so I can leave with that audio in my ears. And then! The dancers danced to the original! Whoohooo!! I’ve never been a big, long list type of person for Christmas. Still don’t have a long list, but this year I have one. Not one thing on the list I can go out and buy. Not one thing I can do for myself. Gonna be an interesting Christmas.
And commitment: for every one of the list that is granted, I will give $500 to the church or someone in need. Truthfully, I don’t know where this thought came from, but I’m running with it. At first I though $100 and though $100 is a lot, I can probably squeeze that out from somewhere in a month or so. $500 is a sacrifice. And for seven items on my list. Armmmm. That’s $3500!! Yahweh, you definitely have to make a way because even though I’m calling it a Christmas list, it is truly a prayer list for Christmas. Wow. Weirdly enough, my thought was I have to find $3500 which is how confident I felt in the answers being positive.
And I am thankful for that. Even though Yahweh may say no, I am thankful that I felt confident to ask. Because you are able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than I can ask or imagine.
