Is it true that all good things must come to an end? Good Morning Yahweh. I’m asking the question because we are leaving the hotel in less than six hours. We spent four and a half days in San Fernando learning and having fun. It was really good. And the thought came, “All good things must come to an end.” And then I wondered, “Does it though?”

James 1:17 – Every good present and every perfect gift comes from above, from the Father who made the sun, moon, and stars. The Father doesn’t change like the shifting shadows produced by the sun and the moon.

Good : agathos : intrinsically good, good in nature, good whether it be seen to be or not, what originates from God and is empowered by him.

So, all “good” things do come to an end if the “good” is determined by man. The things that Yahweh calls good, don’t come to an end because it is empowered by him.

Jeremiah 33:2 –  “I made the earth, formed it, and set it in place. My name is the Lord. This is what the Lord says:

Genesis 1:4 – God saw the light was good. So God separated the light from the darkness.

This earth originated from God. He called it good and though man has tried their best to destroy it, it’s still here because it came from God and it was declared good by him.

Ephesians 5:9 –  Light produces everything that is good, that has God’s approval, and that is true.

Good is produced by Yahweh and what comes from him does not end. Light was made by Yahweh. Love originated from Yahweh. But the things that man says are good outside of what Yahweh declared is good does not last. But we can declare with a surety by Yahweh himself that,

“God is Good.”

Yahweh never changes. He is good. You’ve been better than good to me!
