1 Corinthians 4:20 – God’s kingdom is not just talk, it is power.
Hmmmm. Semantics. We believe and so we speak. But in speaking we are not speaking of ourselves, but of Yahweh. Therein lies the power. Yahweh-whose every word is life itself.
1 Corinthians 5:12 – After all, do I have any business judging those who are outside the Christian faith? Isn’t it your business to judge those who are inside?
The problem with this scripture is the execution. Because we usually decide to judge our fellow believers not by what Yahweh says, but by our preconceived ideas.
1 Corinthians 12:9 – To another person the same Spirit gives courageous faith. To another person the same Spirit gives the ability to heal.
Languages have always fascinated me, but despite constant attempts I have not been able to learn more than the basics of other languages. Then I hear people speaking in tongues and also being told (not personally) that everyone should be able to speak in tongues. The truth is I question the veracity of the statement now. The Holy Spirit interprets for everyone – whether an eloquent speech or a wordless groaning. But I think that the gifts of tongues wasn’t given to everyone. Just like other gifts weren’t given to everyone.
1 Corinthians 13:8a – Love never comes to an end.
Why? Because Yahweh is love and in him there is no beginning and no ending.
